But for sure: the engineers at Ohlsen GmbH sponsor swimming courses for children in need: Sports associations, swimming pool operators and the German Lifesaving Society are sounding the alarm: the number of young non-swimmers has been rising steadily, and not just since the coronavirus crisis; courses that have been fully booked for a long time can no longer meet the actual demand.

One of the focal points of our engineering office is the area of urban water management - with a lot of planning experience around our favourite element: Water is life, safe swimming is an indispensable part of quality of life! With donations in favour of local partner organisations at our clients’ locations, our initiative has been supporting the organisation of swimming courses for children aged 5-15 in need since 2021.
